The Faculty of Social Sciences will be participating in UWI Mona Research Day, on Thursday, March 26, 2026, under the theme,
“Future-proofing Jamaica and the Caribbean: Research for Resilience, Revenue and Regional Leadership.”
We are requesting physical copies of faculty-authored books for inclusion in a dedicated book display. All books will be carefully monitored throughout the event and safely returned to their respective owners.
Submit books to Mrs Shara Williams-Lue at the Social Sciences Faculty Office by March 23, 2026.
Our 7 faculties and 12 professional schools offer more than 200 programmes to some 18,000 graduate, undergraduate and continuing studies students.
The UWI, Mona ranks first in Jamaica among accredited tertiary-level programmes. In 2012, the University was again one of Jamaica’s Top 100 Employers.
