The Global Data Barometer (GDB) is a critical new benchmark that measures the state of data in 109 countries around the world, in terms of governance, availability, capability and use for the public good. The GDB is a collaborative project conducted through regional hubs and thematic partners. In the Caribbean, the Mona School of Business & Management – UWI through the Caribbean Open Institute conducted this initial study for eight Caribbean countries: Bahamas, Belize, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, Haiti and Dominican Republic, each with independent experienced researchers that conducted a common expert survey across each country.
