BSc Hotel Management

The BSc Hotel Management degree is designed to educate students on the core theories, principles and practices of managing hospitality operations. Hotel Management involves a range of core functions such as: Human Resources, Financial Management, Food and Beverage Management and Rooms Division Management (to include front office and housekeeping operations). Students enrolled in this programme will sit courses in organizational behavior, hotel facilities planning and design, food and beverage, menu planning, hotel information systems and physical plant management, to name a few. Students who take this major are qualified to commence a career in the field of Hotel Management or in other service related areas of a work organization.
