Dr Andrew Spencer from the Mona School of Business and Management, focuses on tourism development and management. His work has included areas such as Tourism and Hospitality Education in the Caribbean, travel supply chain, tourism advertising effectiveness, small hotel competitiveness, gender issues in the hospitality sector and leadership in the Caribbean tourism industries.

Delroy Chevers from the Mona School of Business and Management has published numerous research in the field of information systems, including the effect of e-filing on tax compliance among micro enterprises in Jamaica, software process improvement model for small firms in developing countries and the impact of cybercrime on e-banking.

Dr Michelle McLeod from the Mona School of Business and Management has over 30 years of experience in the tourism industry and her research areas include knowledge networks, destination and policy networks, and service productivity. Dr. McLeod has several publications on areas such as Knowledge Networks and Tourism, The Politics of Tourism Development and Tourism Open Data in Jamaica. Dr McLeod also has two co-edited books: Knowledge Networks and Tourism and Tourism Management in Warm-water Island Destinations.

Dr Sophia Rolle from the centre for hotel and tourism management is a researcher and consultant in various areas of tourism development and its impact on SIDS. Dr Rolle has conducted research on topics such as marijuana agro-tourism habitat, archipelago tourism, the impact of tourism society, economy and culture, as well as the relationship between culture, heritage, festivals and economics.
