The Faculty successfully launched its 6th Annual Research Writers’ Retreat, taking place at Cardiff Hall, Runaway Bay, from January 8-12, 2025. Twenty-two (22) researchers participated in the session which was held at the Cardiff Hotel & Spa, Runaway Bay. There were three (3) Professors in Residence: Dr Delroy Chevers of the Caribbean Maritime University, Professor Trevor Smith of the MSBM, and Professor Christopher Charles of the Department of Government. Joining the Faculty colleagues were four (4) colleagues from the Faculty of Science and Technology, and one (1) UWI Alum who is pursuing a PhD at the University of Cambridge. Feedback received indicated that the retreat was well organized and met and exceeded expectations.
