Taking a risk, and deciding to enter Miss Social Sciences 2018 was one of the most life altering decisions I had ever made.  Being crowned the queen of the largest and most prominent Faculty of The U.W.I. Mona, has broadened my horizons. I was presented with many opportunities such as serving as an adjudicator for another other pageant and this served to further cement my love for the Arts. 

During my time as Miss Social Sciences 2018 I have garnered much public speaking opportunities. As the SocSci Queen I have interacted with numerous "movers and shakers" and most importantly formed many connections which I am sure will produce  much fruits in the future. Above all, I am grateful to be an advocate for those around me. 
For the very first time, I believed in my abilities and I realized that others did too. As Miss Social Sciences, I had the opportunity to plan and execute my first charity initiative, which further exposed me to the importance of giving back to those who were unable to care for themselves. Serving the Faculty of Social Sciences has been my greatest pleasure and I will take away  memories that I will cherish for a lifetime.
