SENIOR COMMON ROOM ANNIVERSARY SCHOLARSHIP	engineering, fst, humed, medsci		The award is available to students: entering final year; pursuing a B.Sc. in the Faculties of Humanities & Education, Engineering, Science & Technology, Medical Sciences (Government Sponsored)	J $300,000.00	One (1)	One (1) year			The award will be based on: high academic achievement in the annual University Examinations (at least a GPA of 3.0); verifiable financial need; involvement in co-curricular activities.	Short-listed candidates will be interviewed by a panel comprising personnel from the Senior Common Room Club Management Committee.	In addition to the referee's affadavit, all applications should be accompanied by a recommendation letter from the Head of Department or the Dean of the Faculty.		Applicants applying for more than one award should submit a SEPARATE application form when applying for this scholarship.
Stanley Greig Memorial Scholarship	fst, humed		The award is available to Jamaican nationals who are: pursuing studies at the Mona Campus leading to a first degree in Computer Sciences (either in the Fcaulty of Humanities & Education or the Faculty of Science & Technology) entering the final year of the degree programme.	J $75,000.00	One (1)	One (1) year			The award will be based on: high academci acheievement in the level 2 University examinations (at least a GPA of 3.3); verifiable financial need; demonstrable leadership qualities in co-curricular activities.	Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a panel comprising personnel from the University abd representatives from the donor agency.
STEPHEN ALLEYNE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP (THE)	fst		The award is available to students who are: Caricom nationals; final year students pursuing a B.Sc. in the faculty of Science and Technology, Mona Campus (majoring in Actuarial Science).	US $2,500.00	One (1)	One (1) year			The award will be based on: high academic achievement in the annual University Examinations (at least a GPA of 3.3); verifiable financial need.	Short-listed candidates will be interviewed by a panel comprising personnel from the Caribbean Actuarial Association and the University of the West Indies.
Taste Limited Scholarship for Food & Beverage	fst, socsci		The award is available to: Jamaican Nationals entering the Fcaulty of Social Sciences and pursuing studies in Hotel Management PS. In the absence of a suitable candidate from Social Sciences, applicants pursuing studies in Food Technology/Food Chemistry may be considered.	J $300,000.00	One (1)	Two (2) years		The following terms and conditions apply: The recipient msut continue to meet all the established criteria to qualify for the award in the subsequent year of tenure; Tastee Ltd maintains first right of employment after completion of the course of study	The award will be based on: Academic performance based on the results of Year 1 University examinations (at least a GPA of 3.5); Verifiable finanncial need; Active participation in co-curricular activties; Demonstrable leadership qualities, volunteerism and social involvement	Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a panel consisting of representatives from Tastee Ltd, UWI & UWIDEF.
TASTEE LIMITED SCHOLARSHIP FOR ACCOUNTING & MANAGEMENT	socsci		The award is available to: Jamaican Nationals entering the second year of studies in the Faculty of Social Sciences and pursuing studies in Accounting & Management. Entering levels two (2) or three of the programme.	J$250,000.00	One (1)	Two (2) years		The following Terms & Condition apply: The recipient must continue to meet all the established criteria to qualify for the award in the subsequent year of tenure; Tastee Ltd. maintains first right of employment after completion of the course of study; Participation in an internship programme at Tastee Ltd; Participation in facility tours, meetings and other forms of engagement with Tastee Ltd.	The award will be based on: Academic performance based on the results of Year I University examinations (at least a GPA of 3.3); Verifiable financial need; Active participation in co-curricular activities; Demonstrable leadership qualities, volunteerism and social involvement.	Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a panel consisting of representatives from Tastee Ltd., UWI & UWIDEF.			Forfeiture of any of the Terms and Conditions will require full repayment of the scholarship funds remitted on the recipient's behalf.
TASTEE LIMITED SCHOLARSHIP FOR LAW	law		The award is available to: Second year Jamaican Nationals entering the L.LB programme.	J $300,000.00	One (1)	Two (2) years		The following Terms & Condition apply: The recipient must continue to meet all the established criteria to qualify for the award in the second year of tenure; Participation in an internship programme at Tastee Ltd; Participation in facility tours,meetings and other forms of engagement with Tastee Ltd. The 1980 Management Studies Graduating Class 40th Anniversary Bursary	socsci		The award is available to two (2) Jamaican national students who are: registered full-time at the Mona School of Business & Management in an undergraduate programme; entering the second year of a three (3) year degree programme.	$160,000.00	Two (2)	Two (2) years			The awards are based on: maintenance of high level of scholastic performance in the preceding year of their studies, with a minimum GPA of 3.0; verifiable financial need; demonstration of involvement in co-curricular and community activities on the UWI campus and/or other communities.	Potential candidates will be short-listed by the Office of Student Financing. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a panel comprising members of the 1980 Management Studies graduating class and a member designated by Mona School of Business and Management (MSBM).
THE AFJ- COY FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP	medsci		The award is available to Jamaica nationals pursuing a degree in the faculty of Medical Sciences.	USD $4, 850.00 (JMD equivalent)	One	One (1) year			The award will be based on: verifiable financial need; high academic achievement.	Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a committee comprising personnel from the University and the AFJ Scholarship Committee.
