Mr. Jayaka Campbell, a PhD student from the Department of Physics, was presented with an award for Best Research Publication at the Office of Graduate Studies and Research Awards Ceremony held June 4, 2019 in recognition of Graduate Research Excellence. The title of the award winning publication is: "Future Caribbean Climate in a World of Rising Temperatures: The 1.5 vs. 2.0 Dilemma". He is a member of the renowned Climate Studies Group Mona (CSGM) that received the Principal's Research Day Best Publication Award for this article in February 2019. Co-authors from the Department of Physics (Mona) include, Director of the CSGM, Professor Michael Taylor, Dr. Leonardo Clarke, Dr. Tannecia Stephenson and Ms. Jhordanne Jones.
