DR. EDWARD ELEVATED TO SENIOR IEEE MEMBER
The Department of Physics extended congratulations to Dr. Kert Edward on his elevation to the grade of Senior Member of the IEEE this Year. Senior Members are the highest Professional Grade of the IEEE and reflects professional accomplishment and maturity. Only 7% of the 431,000 members have achieved this level.
Our 7 faculties and 12 professional schools offer more than 200 programmes to some 18,000 graduate, undergraduate and continuing studies students.
The UWI, Mona ranks first in Jamaica among accredited tertiary-level programmes. In 2012, the University was again one of Jamaica’s Top 100 Employers.
