New Stream for ECON1001 - Intro. to Microecon...

A new stream has been created for Introduction to Microeconomics.  The stream, M13, will be delivered on Tuesdays, 7pm - 9pm in SR16.  Two additional tutorials, T33 and T34, have also be established.  These tuorials are scheduled for Wednesday 7pm-8pm in SR12 and Wednesday 8pm-9pm in SR11, respectively.  Students wishing to register for this stream have until mid-night on Friday, September 30 to do so.

New Stream for FOUN1301 - Law, Governance, ...

A new stream has been created for FOUN1301.  The stream, M14, will be delivered on Mondays, 2pm - 4pm in GLT3/I102).  Students wishing to register for this stream have until mid-night on Friday, September 23 to do so.

Automated Student Request System (ASRS)

The Automated Student Request System (ASRS) has now been upgraded and is fully operational.  The System is now accessible via 'Online Systems' on the home page of the Faculty's website or via the Student Administration System (SAS).

The Automated Student Request System (ASRS) has been removed from the Faculty's website to facilitate upgrading work.  Students wishing to make request for services may download, complete and submit this form to the Faculty Office.

Undergraduate Student Handbook 2011-2012

The 2011-2012 FSS Undergraduate Student Handbook is now available for distribution and download.

Newly-admitted students and student who transferred into the Faculty during the relevant academic year may collect their printed copy of the Handbook from the Faculty Office during regular opening hours.  

Undergraduate Registration and Orientation 2011

The Faculty of Social Sciences invites all new and returning students to Registration Week which runs from August 29 - September 2.   All newly-admitted students are expected to attend the Dean's welcome address on Monday, August 29 at 9am in the Inter-Faculty Lecture Theatre (IFLT).  We encourage all students to (i) come out and meet the staff and fellow students, (ii) receive academic and career advice, and (iii) learn about Faculty resources.

Call of Papers: Psychology International Conference

The Psychology Unit will host its 1st International Conference under the theme ‘Dying to be Beautiful? Body Image, Eating Behaviours and Health in the Caribbean’ from January 13-15, 2012.
