The staff (27 persons) of the Building Services Sections includes plumbers, painters, joiners as well as persons trained in general building maintenance.  

The Building Services provided include:

• Routine inspection of plumbing systems, roofs, and other structural components of buildings.
• Routine inspections and identification of repair needs in the water distribution and sewage systems.
• General maintenance, minor repairs, and modifications requiring skills in plumbing, carpentry, joinery, welding, masonry, painting, and other trades.
• Repainting of staff houses and faculty structures based on a scheduled preventive maintenance programme.
• Infrastructure expansion and upgrading for water supply, sewage, roadways and parking lots.
