We hope this message finds you well. In light of the approaching hurricane, we would like to inform you that sandbagging and shuttering operations are currently in high gear on campus. These efforts began on July 1st and will continue until the end of today July 3 to ensure maximum protection of our facilities.

- Emergency Contact: During the hurricane event, any concerns or emergencies should be directed via WhatsApp to 876-856-9222. This line will be monitored continuously to provide assistance and support.
- Personal Safety: We strongly encourage all members of the UWI Mona community to prioritize personal safety. Please take all necessary precautions to secure yourselves, your families, and your households.
- Stay Calm: Rest assured, the Estate Management Department (EMD) is working diligently to ensure the safety and security of all buildings and properties on campus. We are fully prepared to handle this situation and will continue to monitor and respond to any developments.
We understand that this may be a stressful time, but we ask that you remain calm and follow all safety protocols. Your safety is our utmost priority.
