Members of the campus community must refrain from feeding the stray dogs. Feeding or petting the animals encourages them to stay on campus, which increases the risk of future conflicts. By not feeding or petting the dogs, we help discourage them from lingering on campus and contribute to the overall success of the dog control efforts.
The Importance of Support and Cooperation
The success of the dog control efforts relies on the cooperation of all members of the campus community. Everyone is encouraged to report any sightings of stray dogs to the EMD, and to refrain from intervening when dogs are being trapped. The goal is not only to ensure the safety of students, faculty, and staff but also to address the welfare of the animals involved by sending them to proper shelters where they can receive care. As the Estate Management Department continues its work to create a safe and secure campus environment, the entire community must support these efforts. Through collective responsibility and vigilance, we can ensure that such incidents do not occur again, fostering a safer environment for all.
