Clinton Hutton Promoted to the Rank of Professor

The Faculty of Social Sciences congratulates Clinton Hutton, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Government, to the rank of Professor. The promotion comes in the wake of assessment of his academic accomplishments and contribution to his field.

 

Clinton Hutton holds the Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication with Social Sciences and the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Political Science from The University of the West Indies, Mona. He also holds the Certificate in Teacher Education from The Mico University College.

When do tutorials begin?

Tutorials are usually held two to three weeks after teaching begins however, that may not be the case for all courses.  Your lecturer will make an announcement of the start of tutorials during the first lecture for each course.  If this is not done, I suggest you ask him/her directly.

Will I be allowed a double major in my first year?

Based on our regulations, you will not be allowed to add a second major in your admission year.  You may, however apply via SAS for a double major in year 2 of your studies.
