I am unable to register because of a registration time ticket error. How do I rectify this?

Students may receive this error for two (2) reasons:  These are:

 

1.  Not registering in the previous semester; or

2.  Being required to withdraw (RTW).

 

If you did not register in the previous semester, then you must apply via the Automated Student Request System (ASRS) for late leave of absence.

 

If you have been required to withdraw, the pertinent regulations are outlined below:

REQUIREMENT TO WITHDRAW REGULATIONS

What are the eligibility requirements for an additional course, i.e., maximum credit exceeded

A full time student  is usually expected to register for a maximum of thirty (30) credits in any one academic year while a part-time student is eligible for a maximum load of 6 courses or eighteen (18) credits for an academic year.

 

However, the following students may be eligible for an additonal course or three (3) additional credits:

Revised FSS Course Codes and Titles

Set out below is a list of course codes and titles that were revised as part of a Cross Campus harmonization exercise.  The content of the courses were not changed thus these courses are anti-requisite for each other and cannot be taken together for credit.

Revised GPA Scheme 2014-2015

The revised Grade Point Average (GPA) scheme for all undergraduate programmes will take effect from Semester 1, 2014-2015.  The revised scheme will be applied to all new and continuing students.
