  • How do I top up my printing account?

This can be done at the Reprographic Services Unit at the Main Library or the Circulation Desk at any of the branch libraries. 

 

  • What are the opening hours for the Overnight Reading Rooms?

The opening hours of the overnight Reading Rooms may vary depending on which campus you plan to access the facility from. Check our branch pages for availability and opening hours.

 

  • May I reserve a book that is out on loan?

Only Open Shelf materials are allowed and this can be done in person or through online conditions. 

 

  • Where can I find past examination papers?

These can be found on UWILinC by using the course code. 

 

  • How can I access the Gleaner archives?

Go to UWILinC. Sign in. Select Databases.  Search Gleaner. Click on the link. Enter your search term.

 

  • May I renew a book I borrowed?

Yes, as long as it is not in demand, on hold for someone else or overdue.  Also, only open self materials can be renewed.

 

  • Which items can I borrow and what are the loan periods?

  • What are the procedures to borrow a loaner Tablet from the Library?

Make request through your faculty, Guild of Students or OSSD –then those entities will send the request to the library.

UWIlinC is The UWI Libraries Information Connection Portal that gives you access to databases, books and other resources in the Library.

 

  • Where can I get help with using UWIlinC?

  • Where can I  find  background information on my Research Topic/Essay Title?

 Go to UWILinC Select Databases.  Enter search term Credo Reference. You can then type your keywords and search the database (See also Video Tutorials)
