The Impact of the 1992 Investment Policy Reform on Growth in the Bahamas

Issue:

This article provides empirical evidence of  the impact on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) flows by the 1992 investment policy reforms in the Bahamas. While much analysis has been conducted to demonstrate the reliance of  the Bahamian economy on FDI, little analysis has been conducted to demonstrate the determinants of  FDI in the Bahamas or the impact of  prior investment policy reforms on those FDI receipts.
