Key Information
- The scholarship application period for the 2026/2027 academic year is now open. Apply early. Do not miss this opportunity. Deadline-June 30, 2026.
- Most awards require a minimum GPA of 3.0, although:
- Some awards require a higher GPA.
- A few awards accept a GPA as low as 2.2
- Awards are generally available to full-time undergraduate students at UWI Mona, unless otherwise stated.
Application Guidelines
- The applicant should only apply for scholarships/bursaries for which the prescribed criteria are met as indicated on each terms of award.
- The required programme level refers to the academic year that the student will next be registered. For example, if the criteria states "must be in level II", the applicant is expected to be enrolled in level I until July 31, 2026.
- Complete all sections of the application form before submitting.
- Providing incorrect information may result in your application not being processed.
Scholarship Rules
- Students will not be allowed to hold multiple awards if their combined value exceeds tuition and housing costs combined (where appliable).
Referee Affidavit
- You will be required to upload a Referee Affidavit (active link to the form). Please click the link to access the form. (The form must be completed and stamped, per the instructions at the bottom of the form, then uploaded to the relevant section on the portal.
Scholarship Tip
- Use the OSF website to identify the eight (8) scholarships for which you wish to be considered and then select those awards when you login to the scholarship portal to complete the application form.
- Contact the Office of Student Financing with any queries. Do not delay. Apply for the 2026/2027 scholarships and bursaries now.

After submitting the application Form
- Scholarship interviews begin in July 2026
- Short-listed applicants will be contacted via email to schedule interviews during semester 1, 2026/2027.
